Y tomó Taré a Abram su hijo, y a Lot hijo de Harán, hijo de su hijo, y a Sarai su nuera, esposa de Abram su hijo; y salió con ellos de Ur de los caldeos, para ir a la tierra de Canaán; y vinieron hasta Harán, y asentaron allí.

Terah took Abram his son, and Lot the son of Haran, his grandson, and Sarai his daughter-in-law, his son Abram’s wife; and they went out together from Ur of the Chaldeans in order to enter the land of Canaan; and they went as far as Haran, and settled there.

וַיִּקַּח תֶּרַח אֶת־אַבְרָם בְּנֹו וְאֶת־לֹוט בֶּן־הָרָן בֶּן־בְּנֹו וְאֵת שָׂרַי כַּלָּתֹו אֵשֶׁת אַבְרָם בְּנֹו וַיֵּצְאוּ אִתָּם מֵאוּר כַּשְׂדִּים לָלֶכֶת אַרְצָה כְּנַעַן וַיָּבֹאוּ עַד־חָרָן וַיֵּשְׁבוּ שָׁם׃

Mas Sarai fué esteril, y no tenía hijo.

Sarai was barren; she had no child.

וַתְּהִי שָׂרַי עֲקָרָה אֵין לָהּ וָלָד׃

Y tomaron Abram y Nachôr para sí mujeres: el nombre de la mujer de Abram fué Sarai, y el nombre de la mujer de Nachôr, Milca, hija de Harán, padre de Milca y de Isca.

Abram and Nahor took wives for themselves. The name of Abram’s wife was Sarai; and the name of Nahor’s wife was Milcah, the daughter of Haran, the father of Milcah and Iscah.

וַיִּקַּח אַבְרָם וְנָחֹור לָהֶם נָשִׁים שֵׁם אֵשֶׁת־אַבְרָם שָׂרָי וְשֵׁם אֵשֶׁת־נָחֹור מִלְכָּה בַּת־הָרָן אֲבִי־מִלְכָּה וַאֲבִי יִסְכָּה

Y murió Harán antes que su padre Thare en la tierra de su naturaleza, en Ur de los Caldeos.

Haran died in the presence of his father Terah in the land of his birth, in Ur of the Chaldeans.

וַיָּמָת הָרָן עַל־פְּנֵי תֶּרַח אָבִיו בְּאֶרֶץ מֹולַדְתֹּו בְּאוּר כַּשְׂדִּים׃

Estas son las generaciones de Thare: Thare engendró á Abram, y á Nachôr, y á Harán; y Harán engendró á Lot.

Now these are the records of the generations of Terah. Terah became the father of Abram, Nahor and Haran; and Haran became the father of Lot.

וְאֵלֶּה תֹּולְדֹת תֶּרַח תֶּרַח הֹולִיד אֶת־אַבְרָם אֶת־נָחֹור וְאֶת־הָרָן וְהָרָן הֹולִיד אֶת־לֹוט

Y vivió Thare setenta años, y engendró á Abram, y á Nachôr, y á Harán.

Terah lived seventy years, and became the father of Abram, Nahor and Haran.

וַיְחִי־תֶרַח שִׁבְעִים שָׁנָה וַיֹּולֶד אֶת־אַבְרָם אֶת־נָחֹור וְאֶת־הָרָן׃

Y vivió Nachôr, después que engendró á Thare, ciento diecinueve años, y engendró hijos é hijas.

and Nahor lived one hundred and nineteen years after he became the father of Terah, and he had other sons and daughters.

וַיְחִי נָחֹור אַחֲרֵי הֹולִידֹו אֶת־תֶּרַח תְּשַׁע־עֶשְׂרֵה שָׁנָה וּמְאַת שָׁנָה וַיֹּולֶד בָּנִים וּבָנֹות׃ ס

Y vivió Nachôr veintinueve años, y engendró á Thare.

Nahor lived twenty-nine years, and became the father of Terah;

וַיְחִי נָחֹור תֵּשַׁע וְעֶשְׂרִים שָׁנָה וַיֹּולֶד אֶת־תָּרַח

Y vivió Serug, después que engendró á Nachôr, doscientos años, y engendró hijos é hijas.

and Serug lived two hundred years after he became the father of Nahor, and he had other sons and daughters.

וַיְחִי שְׂרוּג אַחֲרֵי הֹולִידֹו אֶת־נָחֹור מָאתַיִם שָׁנָה וַיֹּולֶד בָּנִים וּבָנֹות׃

Y vivió Serug treinta años, y engendró á Nachôr.

Serug lived thirty years, and became the father of Nahor;

וַיְחִי שְׂרוּג שְׁלֹשִׁים שָׁנָה וַיֹּולֶד אֶת־נָחֹור
