Génesis 4:15

Y respondióle Jehová: Cierto que cualquiera que matare á Caín, siete veces será castigado. Entonces Jehová puso señal en Caín, para que no lo hiriese cualquiera que le hallara.

So the LORD said to him, “Therefore whoever kills Cain, vengeance will be taken on him sevenfold.” And the LORD appointed a sign for Cain, so that no one finding him would slay him.

וַיֹּאמֶר לֹו יְהוָה לָכֵן כָּל־הֹרֵג קַיִן שִׁבְעָתַיִם יֻקָּם וַיָּשֶׂם יְהוָה לְקַיִן אֹות לְבִלְתִּי הַכֹּות־אֹתֹו כָּל־מֹצְאֹו׃
